Oxfordshire Theatre Makers Showcase
Thursday 29 March 2018
Old Fire Station, Oxford, OX1 2AQ
10.30am – 6pm
Calling all Oxfordshire Theatre Makers!
Would you like the chance to meet programmers, venues, producers and funders? Would you like them to see your work and to hear from them about what they do and what they are looking for?
We are holding a day doing just that and celebrating the exciting mix of quality theatre produced in Oxfordshire on Thursday 29 March 2018 from 10.30am to 6pm at The Old Fire Station, Oxford.
If you are based, or make your work, in Oxfordshire and have a piece of theatre that you’d like to tour then we invite you to apply.
We are seeking up to eight companies/theatre makers to present an extract of your tour ready work on the day and to share your ambitions with a range of invited industry professionals, as well as hear from them about what they are looking for and what their venues are like. We will facilitate conversations and seek to help the connections become sustainable and beneficial into the future.
We are also presenting three Masterclasses with industry experts on Tour Booking, Preparing Your Pitch and Evaluating Your Project between January and April 2018 inclusive which you will be eligible to attend.
All companies invited to perform a piece at the showcase will receive a fee of £200 to cover their expenses.
You must apply by 5pm on Friday 1 December 2017
Companies shortlisted for interview will be informed by Friday 8 December 2017
Interviews will be on Tuesday 12 December 2017 in Oxford
