Human Story Theatre

New writing, real issues. Human Story Theatre focuses on new plays with a health and social care issue at heart. After every show they host a post-show Q&A with guest speakers from organisations relevant to the issues raised in the play. Their aim is to be accessible to all: to ‘pop up’ in any designated space, with minimal set, which means they can tour easily to any venue. They also operate a ‘pay what you can’ policy where possible.
Justice in Motion

A professional Physical Theatre Company comprised of a collective of artists and collaborators that are passionate about art and social justice. Our main focus is to raise awareness about social injustice through powerful, thought-provoking and visually stunning shows and to catalyze and inspire debate and action for social change.

Not-for-profit theatre company. Our main purpose is to advance tolerance and inclusivity within our rapidly changing society. Our plays have a particular focus on ethical dilemmas, conflicts and pressures which face us in today’s multi-cultural and socially diverse Britain.

Entertaining education. We have performed theatre in schools to get children enthusiastic about difficult subjects such as healthy eating. We have provided shows in workplaces to get staff motivated to change their behaviour in areas such as energy efficiency. We have entertained the general public stimulating them to thinking about important issues such as climate change.

Our mission is to revitalise forgotten, neglected and underused sites using storytelling, performance and multi-media to explore where historical and fictional worlds meet and to celebrate the stories and history that make places, people and communities special. We do this through devising dynamic and engaging performance in museums, castles, churches, art galleries and theatres as well as outdoor sites such as Oxford Castle and the Rollright Stones.
